Happy Saturday, friends. How's your week been? Ours has been mixed, to be honest. It was my gran's funeral this week, which while of course brought tears, also brought with it a celebration of a life well-lived. My gran was ace. So generous. So kind. I am so grateful to her for passing on her culture vulture ways to me, especially her passion for art and ballet and theatre. But now we've said goodbye, the sadness I feel is tinged with hope for when we'll see each other again. What peace comes with faith.
My gathered links this week span a whole range of topics, from infertility, to Mothering Sunday, to finding and defining success. Lots of food for thought. I am so in awe of the incredible words which these women have woven together into beautiful prose. Each piece is poignant and well worth reading.
+ The apple slice. Possibly one of the best things I've read in a very long time. I so love Erin's writing, and honesty.
+ It's Mothering Sunday here in the UK tomorrow. Here's a lovely open letter to pastors, on what can be a tough day for many.
+ To fall in love with anyone, do this. So fascinating!
+ What to say to your friend who is infertile.
Have you seen anything special that's caught your eye in the week? I'd love to hear about it. Comment below or tweet me!
